Jeanette was my first friend I met while working for PlanetOut and Gay.com. She is such a great person and I’m happy to be friends with her. She’s also a real food enthusiast like myself.

Found these at Trader Joes the other day. So far I’ve only tried the Ginger Snap flavor. Super tasty, beats all the other health food bars I’ve ever tried. They even have a blog on their website.

Moving day

Tomorrow I’m making the long trek to San Fran! Well not too far, about 40 miles. I’m currently living in Danville with my sister and her boyfriend.

I never thought this day would come. I’ve worked in San Francisco off and on for the past two years and absolutely scoffed at the thought of moving to SF.

That was until I discovered a little place called the Presidio. With it’s abundance of trees and bountiful parking spaces, I gave into San Francisco.

I’ve been a cynic for as long as I can remember. I never felt the urge like so many of my other friends from the bay to move to SF.

But why not? I love culture, food, and people. So I’m excitedly waiting for San Francisco to enrapture me with all it has to offer.
